Quick Disclaimer:
I bought this product with my own money and have no obligation to write a positive review. Everything written is of my own personal opinions after using this product many times over the years.
How Much Does The TETON Sports Camp Pillow Weigh?
Weighing only 10 oz the TETON Sports Camp Pillow is extremely lightweight. This camp pillow is great for car camping, long car rides, airplanes, and even backpacking trips.
What Is The Durability Of The TETON Sports Camp Pillow?
I would say that the TETON Sports Camp Pillow is exceptionally durable. I have owned mine for over 5 years now; it has gone on many camping trips, road trips, and backpacking trips and it still is just as soft and fluffy as when I first bought it. I have dropped it in mud puddles, washed it, and used it a lot over the years and this little pillow has held up amazingly well.
How Comfortable Is The TETON Sports Camp Pillow?
The Teton Sports Camp Pillow is extremely comfortable. It is constructed with a brushed P5 poly hi-count fabric that is known for its incredibly soft texture. Its interior is filled with SuperLoft Elite 4-Channel Hollow fiber, which gives it a super plush feel. The fabric is super soft and is super comfy on backcountry excursions or even long car rides on a road trip.
How Easy Is It To Use The TETON Sports Camp Pillow?
It is super easy to use the TETON Sports Camp Pillow. Unlike some of its competitors where you have to inflate the camp pillow, this easy-to-use travel-sized pillow poofs up on its own. It is a small pillow in a stuff sack and you just pull it out of its drawstring bag and it lofts up and is ready to go.
How Big Is The TETON Sports Camp Pillow?
The Teton Sports Camp Pillow has a length of 18 inches an width of 12 inches and a height of 3 inches. The small compact size of this travel pillow is the perfect size for your head while still being as small as possible. This makes this pillow great without taking up much room while still having enough width to rest your head.
What Is The Packed Size Of The TETON Sports Camp Pillow?
When packed in its compression bag the TETON Sports Camp Pillow is 4" x 7" x 9". This makes the pillow nice and compact for road trips, airlines, and car camping but a little on the larger side for backpacking. It is doable for backpacking trips, especially easier backpacking treks but for longer more difficult treks this camp pillow may take a bit too much space.
How is the Support of The TETON Sports Camp Pillow?
The Teton Sports Camp Pillow provides lots of much-needed support to your neck and is great for travelers. It is soft yet definitely has enough firmness to support your head while camping giving your neck and back the support your body needs.
Is The TETON Sports Camp Pillow Better For Normal Camping or Backpacking?
I generally use this TETON Sports Camp Pillow only for normal camping trips, road trips, and going on a plane. I have taken the Teton Sports Camp Pillow on several backpacking trips and while it was certainly light enough and I enjoyed not having to blow it up, plus loved how comfy it was, the pillow took up too much space in my pack. If I am doing a backpacking trip that is under 10 miles round trip I will consider bringing it because of how comfy it is. But usually, I am logging a lot of miles and elevation gain, and I need the extra space in my pack for other gear for cold weather. I try to shed all extra weight when I have to carry a bear can, ice axe, or crampons.

My Thoughts On The TETON Sports Camp Pillow
Overall, I absolutely love my TETON Sports Camp Pillow and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a camping or travel pillow. I do not recommend it for backpacking just because it is a bit bulky and takes up too much room in my backpack which I need for other gear. I really like how soft the fabric is on it, the support it gives my neck, and how there is no inflating necessary. The last thing I want to do while camping is blow up a pillow. It is small and compact enough that it is fantastic for normal camping trips and even for going on an airplane. Overall a great travel pillow for adventurers.
